Stitching Buddy - Pattern Only

The Stitching Buddy Appreciation Society (est. 2023) is about recognising the love and companionship of our furry friends. The ones who snooze beside us as we stitch, occasionally offering a 'helpful' paw and always contributing a few hairs to our projects!

Inspired by my SBAS needle minder, this design features both canine and feline paw prints, a stylised needle and thread, and a scattering of teeny hearts.

This Hoops & Crosses pattern is suitable for beginners.

Please note: The finished hoop in the photos is for illustrative purposes only, you will receive the pattern in a PDF file format.

Pattern Details:

70 stitches wide x 63 stitches high

Suggested fabric: White 14 count aida, minimum 9” x 8 1/2” (23cm x 22cm).

Stitched area size: 5” (12.7 cm) wide x 4 1/2” (11.4cm) high, perfect for framing in a 6” (15cm) embroidery hoop.

Thread colours: 5

The example was completed using DMC floss, the pattern lists both DMC and, where possible, equivalent Anchor colour codes.
