Home Alone SAL - Pattern Only

It’s nearly time for another festive stitch-along, ya filthy animals! This year’s design is inspired by the 1990 classic Home Alone and features 6 quotes and more than 11 motifs.

The full design will be kept secret until the final part of the SAL is released, but you can see some sneak peeks in the photos, along with the colour palette.

Stitched using full cross stitches, backstitch and 6 French knots (to dot the ‘I’s), plus a tiny button embellishment, there are no partial stitches.

Please note: The finished hoop in the photos is for illustrative purposes only, you will receive the pattern in a PDF file format.

Pattern Details:

84 stitches wide x 122 stitches high

Suggested fabric: White 14 count aida, minimum 10” x 13” (25.4cm x 33cm).

Stitched area size: 5.7” (14.5 cm) wide x 8.6” (21.8cm) high, approx.

Thread colours: 19

The example was completed using DMC floss, the pattern lists both DMC and, where possible, equivalent Anchor colour codes.


Each part of the pattern will be emailed to you on its release day. The schedule is as follows:

• Part 2 - Friday 15th November 2024

• Part 3 (PLUS banner-making instructions) - Friday 29th November 2024
