Home Alone SAL

It’s nearly time for another festive stitch-along, ya filthy animals! This year’s design is inspired by the 1990 classic Home Alone and features 6 quotes and more than 11 motifs.

The full design will be kept secret until the final part of the SAL is released, but you can see some sneak peeks in the photos, along with the colour palette.

Stitched using full cross stitches, backstitch and 6 French knots (to dot the ‘i’s), plus a tiny button embellishment, there are no partial stitches.

This kit comes with all the materials you need to finish the piece as a hanging banner, the only extra equipment required is a pair of sharp scissors and some pins.

Included in the kit:

• White Zweigart aida fabric, 14 count

• Pre-sorted DMC embroidery thread (19 colours)

• 4mm red button

• Green and white felt for finishing and banner-making (vegan-friendly acrylic)

• Wooden dowel

• Cotton yarn

• Pompom trim

• Size 24 tapestry needle, size 26 embroidery needle

• Printed stitch-along guide

All beautifully packaged in a fully recyclable box.

Each part of the pattern will be emailed to you on its release day. The schedule is as follows:

• Part 1 - Friday 1st November 2024

• Part 2 - Friday 15th November 2024

• Part 3 (PLUS banner-making instructions) - Friday 29th November 2024

If you use all the materials provided, and follow the instructions, the finished banner will measure approximately 31cm tall x 22cm wide.
